Family of Three Ch4

Shadow's POV
As soon as I saw Mephilies with his hand at Bliss' neck, I knew that the he was gonna pay!
Beat: Shadow! If you step one more inch closer, I'll have Mephilies chop her head off! So stop!
Shadow:*stops* Now what?!
Beat: First things first. Come to my room and I'll tell you everything you're supposed to do. (for all of those pervs out there, no that's not what they are doing. They just talking!)
Bliss' POV
Mephilies held his hand at my neck the whole time Shadow and Beat where talking, which was a while. After some time, Shadow and Beat came out of the room. Mephilies cut the ropes around me and tossed me at Shadow. He caught me and smiled.
Shadow: Lets go home, dear.
Beat: Remember the deal.
Shadow gave her a deadly glare with his ears flat and a soft growl rolled in his throat. Beat backed up a bit and signaled Mephilies that it was time to go. He followed her out the door in the back of the room and they where gone.
Bliss: Shadow, what deal was she talking about?
Shadow: *sigh* I wish I could tell you but she said if I did, she would take you again.
Bliss: Well, then what did she want you to do?
Shadow: She doesn't want me to tell you that ether.
I walked home wondering what he had to do. I looked at him with concern and he always smiled back, but I could tell that he was faking the smile. I knew that what my sis wanted from him was very dark and hard for Shadow. When we got home, we went straight to bed because we where both completely exhausted.
In the morning, I woke up first like I always do and made some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I was setting the table when I felt Shadow's hands wrap around my waist and his head on my shoulder.
Bliss: Well, look who's up. Did you have a good sleep?
Shadow: Of course. I always do when your around. (PERVS! No that doesn't mean they did it!)
Bliss: Well, sit down, breakfast is done.
We ate the food and then sat in the living room because Shadow was worried if I had been hurt or tortured. I told him that all they did was tie me in a chair and knock me out. After a while, we called everyone to tell them that I was ok. It was  getting late after all of the conversations and dinner so we went to bed around 9pm.
Shadow's POV
It was around 11pm when I woke up. Bliss was still asleep on my chest so I slid her off slowly so I wouldn't wake her. I got dressed before giving her a kiss good bye to begin my search for the Chaos Emeralds.
